Text Copy Problem in Ubuntu from closed window : Solved!

Hey there!

Today I suddenly realized that you can't paste text from a window after it is closed -_-!

Yeah, big deal! like ubuntu doesn't have a solution for that!!

In fact, they do!

Solution:

First of all, you will have to install a little something called glipper.

Code:

 sudo apt-get install glipper

Now, right click on a panel.. any panel! And then click on Add to panel.
there, you will see something like this:



Select it and then click on add. Your panel will look like this now:



See that little G? It will ensure that you can copy every text from a closed window!!

Advantage:

it allows you to save upto 20 copies, (i.e. 20 sets of all different
texts copied) and allows you to use them at any time
pretty good, eh?

I hope this little trick will be helpful to all Ubuntu users

yeah, there are many other ways of doing this without installing glipper.
