I have tried to update the resources in the laptop I have now, and I suddenly got this error

I tried
sudo apt-get clean
ps -a | grep apt
ps
and what not?
Then this blog came to my help

I applied the command
ps aux |grep apt
and it showed me the real thing!!!

Image of the real thing:

the command ps aux lists all the running processes which may or may not be
terminal processes

So, I killed them all the processes including the keywords apt
and it worked!!!

kill 'em all!!:
