I like the strategy Asif vai described. Rep++ to him.

It's time to make a move on. Not much time left in this month,we don't have much off/free days.

I discussed with Amit vai yesterday and he calculated that June 22 - 26 is perhaps off for both batches.

Shouldn't we start with some bidding,or pooling, whatever it is? Smile

Requesting everyone interested to be @ IIT tomorrow. We'll discuss and finalize these issues.

EDIT:

This is the pool system I'm proposing. IMO, pools are sorted in order of skill, players alphabetically.

Pool 1: Gods
Amit, Anik, Asif, Muctadir

Pool 2: Experts
Jobaer, Mohaimin, Shakkhor

Pool 3: Intermediate
Dhrubo, Khalid, Shakir, Toma

Pool 4: Noobs
Alim, Forhad, Iftekhar, Rubayed, Shuvo

Let me know if i missed someone.

Now, We'll be needing four managers. Each of them will be given a fixed amount of credit. There will be a closed auction.

Phase 1
Frist, Pool 1 has to be sold out entirely.
They'll write the amount they're willing to pay for a certain player in a piece of paper, and submit it. It'll not be visible to anyone until everyone has submitted their papers. The highest bidder will get the desired player. Only one Pool 1 player will be allowed to each team. This will be repeated till all the players of Pool 1 is sold out.

Phase 2
Now, Pool 2, Pool3 and Pool4 players will be sold out. However, Each team will be allowed at most 2 Pool 2 players. For other Pools, there will be no restrictions.

If one manager run out of credits before buying enough players, he/she will have to wait untill the auction is over. If more than one player run out of credits, there will be a toss.

Thats exactly what I was going to propose. A fixed amount of credit, and it should be as small as possible, to make the managers use their head. We used this idea in the football leagues in our collage, and the idea worked successfully.

Again, the credit does not need to be real money.

We used 300 credits for 11-14 footballers and with no fraction bidding(You cannot bid 30.5 for a player).
About the number of players in a team: it should be at least 5 I think.
The amount of initial credit should not be 100.

Comment please.

Pooling

Pool 1 and pool 2 has some problems, me and Muctadir are not better players that Muhaimin and Jobaer, I propose Jobaer and Muhaimin be promoted to pool 1 (they deserve it) and me and Mucta be sent to pool 2. These t2 players are much better than me and Mucta believe me. Give them the place that they deserve.

In my opinion pool 1 and 2 should look like this:

Pool 1:
Amit, Mohaimin, Anik, Jobaer

Pool 2:
Asif, Muctadir, Shakkhor

Thanks in advance.
