New Editor for IITDU Forum - thanks to forumotion
Forumotion just decided to upgrade their editor box for all forums. And we have a new editor here.
It looks pretty cool to me. The buttons are self explanatory. Additions are newer fonts, formatted and non formatted pastes, stylish tool bars.
What is your opinion?
Update: The new editor is now currently disabled. the explanation is:

In continuation of our strategy of listening to complaints from our users, and respond to complaints we received after its launch, we decided to go back and deactivate the message editor for the moment.
We will get back to you with the editor as soon as we get it stabilized.
Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience.

New Editor for IITDU Forum - thanks to forumotion :: Comments
I noticed a lot of new things in this editor.
Some of them are the undo and redo button, the collapse Toolbar icon, the unlink and flash option. And many more like these.
The second row of this editor appears to come with a whole new and rich set of tools. I haven't yet found the usages of all those tools. Hope to find it soon.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And I noticed that, it is not showing up the HTML tags for some text operations like bold, italic and underline as it was previously. Instead, the results are in view to me instantly. And some other problems(like the smileys were always being placed at the bottom of all text)have been rectified too. But there's a problem.
When I select one of the three above mentioned tools,it stays selected for good. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I'm unable de-select them.
However, this new text editor seems to me very much friendly and enriched with the latest editing tools. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Stays selected?
unable to deselect?
can you please explain? I am unable to understand unfortunately.
The second row is subscript and superscript, like this:
x2 - normal
x2 - subscript
x2 - superscript
The button looking like a blue eraser is actually a remove format button. It removes the modifications, such as italic, underline, etc.
The source button shows the BB code tags being used here. And the last button is help button
Thanks for the reply

Strange things happening. At this moment, all I can see is the forum's old text editor. The new one has disappeared
I clicked on the bold icon after a text selection. And it continues to bold the texts afterwards, even after clicking the bold icon twice or clicking other icons.

Ah I see
You need to use the source button in that case.
