BIT 02: SE-206(Object Oriented Concepts) course final exam syllabus given by Kabir sir
Dear bit02 students,
we all had confusions on the syllabus of OOC-I(java) course final exam. Kabir sir has made a guideline for that. It was given in our group iit-du but I have attached the actual file here for your convenience.
Best of luck for the upcoming exams. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

java course final?
Does that mean your course name is "Java" and as it is final, you won't have to study java in 3rd semester?

"We" = your and your batch only.
The forum does not consist of "your and your batch only".
Next time, in similar topics, use course code, and course title instead.

I am sorry to interrupt, what you are saying is of course true, but I don't think its that big problem. The title of the post says its for 2nd batch, so it can be assumed that others will not need this.
I assume that you were referring the WE in this:

Yeah, its may not be a big problem. If we think about whether the BIT02 can understand the title or not, then surely you are correct. Even we,the BIT01 can understand Java means OOC here

But, when we are talking about standard, our motto, "Professionalism Excellence Respect " then, we must have to do standard practise. We are not telling that, Iftekhar's post should be banned or for the reason of title, it should be removed or some what like that. We just want to make the posts, the forum indeed, better and better.
Off-course, all my posts are not standard and title may not be understandable. But when someone tell me to make it correct, I accept that humbly and try to make it correct. All of us are requested to point out our mistakes not for pinching anyone but for the betterment of our posting
Iftekhar was told that just to make his post better.
If we think about only understandable, then we can do many more things violating a minimum standard which is understandable
Iftekhar, please add the course name and title in your title post.
I am editing the topic title from java to OOC-I.

Iftekhar, please add the course name and title in your title post.
actually didn't get what did you mean by 'course name and title'
anyway, topic title changed again at this point. I Guess now 'everyone' in the iitduforum world can realize precisely what i meant.
But I have some questions:
What gets superiority these days- 'simplicity and rapidness' or 'complexity and length' ?
And if professionalism is maintained all the way then what about the following posts right in this forum ?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (course name and course code missing)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (Incomplete course name and course code missing)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (course name missing)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (both missing)
and a few like these. Why wasn't these corrected in this manner ??

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Inside appropriate CSE 401 section. Contains OS. Follows standard format.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Good one. Although Business Studies is pretty much self explanatory, but it should contain the course code.
3rd link skipped.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Good one again.
Edit:
Apparently, Tabassum didn't explain things correctly.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
actually contains all information inside it.
5th one skipped.
If professionalism is needed to maintained, it should be maintained by both moderators and users.
It is not possible for any moderator to look after all topics all the day. We try to check all of them of course, But in case we might skip any, there is the report button for you notify us.
Also, you might have missed what Tabassum said.
A combination of both.
And there is a standard format available here along with the reasons for using it:

Re: BIT 02: SE-206(Object Oriented Concepts) course final exam syllabus given by Kabir sir
Topic moved to CSE201 from Notice Board.
Notice Board is for urgent notices. If this syllabus was given the day before exam or any modification then you should give it to the Notice Board. Otherwise syllabus should give in their section
And about Ifterkhar's last post,
I have mentioned that,
I am not right al the time. But we should inform if we find any thing to make the topic better. Again, its not possible to notice each and every posts by 2/3 moderators or admin. So, when we find a mistake or anything to improve we shoul tell it and every one can use the report button.
Now see, why I told you to add the course name in your title topic. I had to move your topic from notice board, so if its without course title, its difficult to find the section where should this topic go. Why the course code and course name should add in post it was described earlier in some posts.
Simplicity and Rapidity is good but not without standard

Re: BIT 02: SE-206(Object Oriented Concepts) course final exam syllabus given by Kabir sir
well, you said:
The course code is not CSE201, it's SE206. you still found it difficult to move it to the right section, didn't you?
and now I can realize very well the importance of putting course code in topic title
and again, I can't find any reason to put course name and code as the topic is posted in the appropriate section.
you also mentioned that:
It wasn't urgent in a sense.
but what would the bit02 students do if they had seen the syllabus the day before exam ? wasn't it imperative to inform the syllabus some days before exam ?
and you moved the topic after our exam has finished too.
Topic moved to CSE201 from Notice Board.

Re: BIT 02: SE-206(Object Oriented Concepts) course final exam syllabus given by Kabir sir
*sigh*
People tends to find other people's mistakes. But they rarely realize that they can make mistakes as well.
And sometimes they start pointing at other people's mistakes to forget that they just made a mistake instead of admitting it.
Anyway, I didn't point at anyone. Just a random thought.
And you forgot to report it [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Iftekhar, Did you even read this part?
I hope you will notice it now as i made it italic, underlined, bold, and size 24.
I think you should check this reply as well.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
This is not related to topic, but you might understand why the forum is the way as it is.
It has been told countless times that forum's noticeboard is for notices.
The urgent notices are needed to be sent to yahoo group mail as a must. Forum's main purpose is to serve the need of discussion among students, and others as necessary.
When the yahoo group mail is considered to be official, it becomes the responsibility of students to check it themselves whether there is any notice or not. As the syllabus was given on November 20, 2010 via the official group mail, the "if" factor should be ignored. Otherwise, it can be deduced that the students were taking their own responsibilities lightly.
The topic was moved later because it was reported later.
The first report was about modifying a post. The second report was made later.
Perhaps you didn't read this part as well.
edit:
The second report was made by me. And I, by my own mistake, mentioned that it should be in the cse201 section.
This report was made later for various reasons. These reasons include the fact that although this was not urgent, we decided to respect your decision of posting this in the noticeboard, for the necessary amount of time. However, it should've been posted in the appropriate section in the first place.
